Is it worth it?

Game Informer, Wesley LeBlanc, 3 Nov 2026, PC: 8.5 out of 10. The review praises the destruction and stagger loop and the way modules stack. It knocks the bosses for being readable to the point of simple, and the picture for turning to noise when too much is breaking. That is one critic.

Metacritic’s PC page, the same week, showed that single 85 and a metascore still marked tbd, because the site waits for more critics. User reviews there were empty. I will not write “Metascore 80+.” OpenCritic’s page did not give me a number I could read, so I leave it out. Kotaku’s “one person might have made 2025’s best FPS” essay is from 28 Aug 2025, during early access. It is not a 1.0 review. Quote it with the date or do not quote it.

Store scores on 6 Nov 2026: Steam 91.5% of 2,648 (Very Positive), Xbox 4.1 of 5 from 89 ratings, PlayStation 4.34 of 5 from 558 ratings. At $17.99 on Steam through 18 Nov, the buy makes sense if you want Titanfall-like movement inside a roguelite. It does not make sense if you wanted co-op or a published plot. Co-op is a no, on the multiplayer page.

FAQ

Is VOID/BREAKER a good game?

One major review says 8.5, and Steam’s own customers say Very Positive. That is the evidence. I am not adding a house score on top.

Should I wait for more reviews?

Metacritic had not formed a metascore by 6 Nov 2026. If you buy on a scoreboard, wait. If you buy on the Steam sale window, that window ends 18 Nov.
