Privacy policy

This policy matches the scripts on the site as of 6 Nov 2026. The operator is the voidbreaker.org editorial desk, [email protected]. Pages are static files. Fonts are files on this host, not a call to a font service.

Default load, then your choice. On a first visit this site loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra before you click anything. No stored choice means granted. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate: Reject turns those vendors off and is remembered for 180 days. The footer’s Cookie settings button reopens the banner so you can change your mind. If the browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the visitor is treated as having rejected. Nothing below is held back until an Accept click.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Measurement ID G-GR8PVPYJY0, served from www.googletagmanager.com and reporting to *.google-analytics.com. GA4 sets _ga (distinguishes browsers, 2 years) and _ga_G-GR8PVPYJY0 (keeps session state, 2 years). It receives the page URL, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser details, and interaction events. Retention: 14 months for user-level data in this property; aggregate reports stay longer. Legal basis: consent for analytics storage, which is granted by default here and can be withdrawn with Reject. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity. Project z9b2hymbct, served from www.clarity.ms and scripts.clarity.ms, reporting to *.clarity.ms. Clarity records heatmaps and session replays with form inputs and other sensitive content masked by default. It sets _clck (persists the Clarity user ID, 1 year), _clsk (session stitching, 1 day), CLID (first-party Clarity ID, 1 year) and may read Microsoft’s MUID cookie (1 year). It receives pages viewed, clicks, scroll and pointer movement, plus device and browser details. Retention: session recordings 30 days, heatmaps up to 13 months. Legal basis: consent, granted by default and withdrawn by Reject. Microsoft policy: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Adsterra. Publisher ID 3403020, website ID 6179676. Two placements load by default: Native Banner unit 32122078 (NativeBanner_1) and Social Bar unit 32122079 (SocialBar_1). Their scripts come from bicea.org and creatives come from the network’s rotating CDNs. Adsterra and its partners may set cookies or equivalent identifiers under bicea.org and the creative domains; their names are chosen by the network and can change without notice, so this page does not pretend to freeze a list. They receive the page URL, IP address, user agent, and ad request and impression data, and use it to choose and measure ads. Retention is set by Adsterra and its partners. Legal basis: consent, granted by default and withdrawn by Reject. Adsterra policy: adsterra.com/privacy-policy.

Personalised advertising opt-outs. You can object to personalised ads at Google Ads Settings, DAA WebChoices, Your Online Choices or NAI. Reject on this site stops the Adsterra scripts from loading at all; it does not reach other sites.

YouTube. Trailers use a locally hosted picture and a play button. The player on www.youtube-nocookie.com is requested when you press play, not before. That request can set YouTube/Google cookies under youtube.com and google.com and is covered by Google’s privacy policy. Pressing play is your action; there is no separate consent dialog for it.

Local storage on this site. vb-consent stores choice (granted or denied) and exp (a timestamp 180 days ahead). vb-socialbar-closed stores closed:true and exp when you close the Adsterra Social Bar, so it does not reappear on the next page load for 180 days. vb-ach-checked stores which achievement boxes you ticked and stays until you clear site data. None of these keys is sent to a server by us.

Legal basis. Analytics and advertising storage rest on consent, which this site treats as granted until you reject, and which you can withdraw at any time with Reject. Serving the static pages you asked for is the service you requested. The achievement checklist stays in your browser and is not used for anything else.

Retention. Consent and Social Bar close records: 180 days. Achievement ticks: until you delete them. GA4 user data: 14 months. Clarity recordings: 30 days; heatmaps: up to 13 months. Adsterra: per its own policy. Host access logs, if the host keeps them, follow the host’s ordinary retention.

Your rights. Depending on where you live you can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy, and object to processing we actually do. Email [email protected]. You can also clear vb-consent, vb-socialbar-closed and vb-ach-checked in your browser’s site settings. We answer privacy mail.

Do Not Track and GPC. Global Privacy Control is treated as Reject. A legacy Do Not Track header is also treated as Reject here, although its meaning varies across browsers.

Children. The game is rated ESRB Teen. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes. The date on this page moves when the policy moves. If a new third party is added, its name, cookies and purpose are written here before the tag ships.

FAQ

Do analytics and ads load before I click anything?

Yes. A first visit with no stored choice is treated as granted, so GA4, Clarity and Adsterra load on the first page view. Reject turns them off and stores that choice for 180 days.

What exactly does Reject remember?

The localStorage key vb-consent stores choice:denied and an expiry 180 days ahead. The page reloads once so already-running vendor scripts stop; later visits do not request GA4, Clarity or Adsterra.

Does YouTube load with the page?

No. Trailers are a local image plus a play button; the youtube-nocookie.com player is requested when you press play.

How do I open cookie settings again?

Use Cookie settings in the footer. It reopens the banner, where Accept restores the vendors and Reject keeps them off.
