Spoilers limited to the patch note
Ending, without invented plot
Version 1.0 added a story conclusion. The finale boss of zone 06 is IDRIS. After you finish that story, the note says runs can be played straight through zones 01–06, and the end-game hub is the VOID/BREAKER museum. A stats board is part of that update. That is the spine I can defend.
Hard Reset’s story beat, from the February 2026 note, is narrower: Desmond and 1473 wake after escaping IDRIS. Desmond is the player character. 1473 is the companion. IDRIS is the hostile intelligence the achievement spells in capitals. I am not going to narrate the conversation, the last room, or a secret ending, because I do not have a publisher plot summary or a second write-up I trust.
Older guides that stop at zone 05 are describing Ascension, not 1.0. If you are here to know whether the game “has an ending,” the answer from the 1.0 post is yes: a conclusion, a museum, and a linear replay. If you are here for a scene list, I do not have one to give you.
Related pages stay mechanical. Boss order is on bosses. What 1.0 changed besides the ending is on the 1.0 update. Length of a credit roll is a separate, thinly sourced number on how long to beat.

FAQ
Does VOID/BREAKER have an ending?
Yes. The 1.0 announcement calls it a story conclusion and places the finale in zone 06 against IDRIS.
Who is 1473?
The companion who, with Desmond, wakes after escaping IDRIS in the Hard Reset story note. I do not have a fuller biography from the publisher.
Are there multiple endings?
The notes I read describe one conclusion plus a linear replay. They do not list alternate endings, so I will not claim a number of endings.
