Stagger, then spend
Your first runs
The loop in the reviews and the tutorial notes is short. Fill a stagger bar with bullets, rubble, grenades, and thrown objects. When the enemy stuns, shoot. Pick up what drops. Dash has invulnerability frames. Slide, then wall-run once you reach zone 4, and use the grapple when the room offers it. 1.0 raised every player’s bullet speed.
Four currencies do different jobs. Voidium rerolls the shop and buys weapons and permanent hack upgrades. Decryptors open hack tiers. Credits buy modules in the shop. Chaos Fragments trade for chassis. The Recycler hack, added in Recalibration, turns a module you do not want back into credits.
Three hacks are gone and still show up on older guides. Voidmax and Schematic Hyperdrive left in Hard Reset. Severance left in Recalibration. If a page tells you to rush Voidmax, it is describing a build the publisher removed.
Two early traps: an enemy that shares your damage element now takes 50% damage, not zero, since February 2026. And the shop can be rerolled, so a bad module row is not the end of the run. Death shows a run summary. Bring the starter pistol until the hub sells you something you prefer, then read how mods repeat before you force a stack. The first boss is Gravaxis.

FAQ
Is VOID/BREAKER hard?
The reviews call the bosses readable and the rooms chaotic. I do not have a death-count study, so I will not stamp it “easy” or “hard” as a fact.
What should I buy first?
A second gun in the hub with Voidium, once you have some. Module shopping uses Credits, which is a different wallet.
